Grateful my daughter is sober today
My 18 year old daughter came home from treatment yesterday. She has been gone nearly a month. She looks beautiful and she woke up this morning and said in a very lovely voice "Good morning!" She proceeded to tell me that every day at the treatment center they wake the residents up by saying "Good morning ladies, it's another Happy Sober Day!" I just love that. I'm so grateful for my daughter being sober, and for the first time ever since I can remember, waking up with a smile in her voice.
