I have two beautiful children, who I do not currently have custody of due to my addiction, however they will be home with me full time the first week in December. I am thankful to those in my life who have been willing to see past my mistakes and help me to become who I am today. I am thankful for those who have stood by me through all the things I have done wrong and never turned their backs on me, and I am also thankful to have a second chance at being a mother to my 2 1/2 year old daughter and my 18 month old son. My addictions took a lot away from me but my sobriety is what is making me able to regain all that I have lost. Second chances have saved me, it is what is keeping me clean and sober day by day. I also am thankful for my higher power for always staying by my side even when I cursed him out and blamed him for all the hell in my life. He has never judged me nor has he ever left my side. Thanks
