Morning Gratitude Through the NightPart Seven
Grateful I got sober before anything horrible could happen. Grateful that I finally want to be sober more than I want to drink.
Grateful for my second chance from God to make my life better.
Grateful for my second chance from God to make my life better.
Grateful for the people in my life today
Grateful for coffee and time for prayer this morning
Grateful for my second chance from God to make my life better
WHEN WE PUT OUR TROUBLES IN GODS HANDS, HE PUTS PEACE IN OUR HEARTS
Grateful today that I've been able to let go and finally say the word God without too much trouble and also being able to be open enough to get back what I had lost a long time ago..or should I say what I gave up a long time ago. Just very happy that today, my heart is in the right spot and I try my hardest to make my actions match.
My 4 year old girl baked bread at school yesterday .
She just came in the room to put a buttery piece of bread in my mouth.
Before it made it to my mouth, she dropped it twice, once right by the garbage can (floor is really dirty ).
I ate it and told her it was delicious (it was good actually!).
All part of being a Dad...seeing my kids happy & proud!
Better go brush my teeth now...

Grateful for waking up with a little less anxiety than I have been feeling for the past several days. Gotta keep telling myself that this is just irrational thinking and everything is just as it should be, everything is good. Sometimes letting go of things I cannot change takes time. Getting there .
