Yep Lbad, humor makes such a difference. I'm feeling a bit crappy right now but Today I prefer to find something to smile about than feel sorry for myself. You know guys, poor me, pour me a drink.
Grateful for laughter and grateful to be here!

Rusty, I appreciate your telling me I could change my name to Most. But the whole point of my name 'least' is from Matthew 25:40. "That which you do unto the least of these, my brethren, you do unto me." It helps keep me humble and compassionate: humble cause I know that I am 'one of the least of these' and compassionate cause it reminds me to be kind to others.
I've got a long way to go toward those two goals, but that verse is a good reminder to me. Thank you for a great compliment, but I don't mind being 'least'!
:ghug
Oh yeah, almost forgot. I'm grateful for staying sober yesterday and grateful I have the chance to stay sober today too!

Now, grateful to know...normal isn't boring.

I was just reading the Relapse Recovery thread in Newcomers and started to cry from the big wave of happiness that swept over me. I felt grateful and happy and content and secure - and it's been a while since I'd felt those feelings so intensely.
I am grateful to you all, God's "angels on earth" who do his work by their friendship.
I know you understand exactly what I mean!
