Bedtime Gratitude Part 8
Just for today I am grateful that my BF doesn't ever seem to get defensive or worked up about much of anything.. He is a very thoughtful/patient man and sometimes it drives me crazy lol but just for today I am grateful..

Gravity amazing right?! What a little mini read in the morning or night can do for us!
I have my book in the car and read it before I pull out to go to work in the morning!
Grateful for meditation books! :bounce
Amazing wisdom and inspiration in those little books! Open up my heart and mind, read a bit, prayer - ready to live the day - focus, strength, acceptance, gratitude .
My wife is on one of her very rare, over night work trips.
Just me and the kids, bit of a break for my wife.
My little boy and girl are getting along great - only had to pry them apart twice so far !
Grandma brought "us" a big bag of homemade cookies. (No, we didn't have cookies for supper. )
Grateful that we have each other. Wouldn't want it any other way.

A better day today. Yea!
I'm grateful that I had an NA friend over this evening to work on some service stuff. I'm beginning to feel useful again plus it was just nice to have some company.
And although I didn't manage to make the OA meeting tonight, I'm grateful that I could have picked up a six month chip if I had. This time I have actually been "abstinent" from compulsive overeating, rather than just abstinent from certain foods. Yes, I've been following a solid meal plan for six months today. Whoo-hoo!!
Sleep tight!
Love and hugs,
Eddie
