I am grateful to have found this site, I discovered it three days ago and already the post have helped me "center" myself and has provided voices of sanity.

I am grateful to find a buyer for hubby's car. A one person doesn't need 3 vehicles.

I am grateful for my loving daughter, friends and three dogs (which provide company at night when I am here alone).

And you have to be grateful for all things??? Okay, if that is so...
Then i am grateful my husband is an alcoholic.
I am grateful he is in jail.
I am grateful he broke his promise not to drink anymore

Finally, I am grateful that God is providing me the strength and endurance to perservere during this trying time.

Karen

((karen)) Remember that sometimes the most seemingly tragic events can be the best things that ever happen to us.....

I am grateful to the vice detective who absolutely was the catalyst for me saving my life.... I used to hate him.. I mean it too. He was always taking me to jail or hassling me about what I was doing, who I was doing it with, where were the kids, etc etc etc ....
I was filled with rage... lol 7 years later he is my buddy. We got out and have coffee..

Grateful for the people that come and go in our lives for whatever reason. Sometimes they stay ((((friends))))) sometimes they go - but they all play an important roll.

After my morning reading and prayer, the following realization came to me:

Focus only on my own thoughts & needs = I get frustrated, miserable
Help others = Serenity

Grateful that some days, I get it!

I am so happy that you found your pendant, Lbad. The littlest things are often the most precious.

Grateful that I'm reading the gratitude right now while viewing through the window behind my monitor - a brilliantly colored sky while the sun rises behind thunderheads. The feeling of peace from these posts combined with the awe that the sky inspires is hard to express.
