I am grateful that I got to go to another detox meeting last night (my second)
I am grateful that I am 10 days sober today, which is a miracle!
I am grateful that every time I ask Him to, God shows me a way that I can help another person.
I am grateful for the wonderful people in the AA program who prove every day that they are willing to do anything to help a fellow alcoholic!

Grateful for yet another beautiful day.
Grateful my dog doesn't catch the bunnies she likes to hunt.
Grateful for my son and husband.
Grateful my panic moments are shorter then they used to be.
Grateful my husband is so good at turning our problems over to God and I am truly working on that.
Grateful I haven't given up on the dream of running a marathon by the time I hit 45 (hopefully sooner).
Grateful I am able to write a list of goals to achieve at the age of 41 years. (Wouldn't have done or thought of doing this while drinking. Only when sober do I have a bright future.)
Grateful for the people here and the wisdom they share.

CC, yep, if mamma aint happy with my decission, and puts up walls...
she can go with the kid, or alanon! lol

Grateful for moments of regret..
I don't care what the promises say, there are moments (like this morning running) when the tears stream down my face at the memory of the pain I caused... deep regret... especially with my children..... Those moments though few and far between are a stark reminder of where I never want to go again. I am grateful for everything given and everything taken....
