26 MILES!!! I am truly humbled.

Grateful for my much less than 26 mile bike ride. I suddenly feel less exercised than I thought I was!

Awesome moon tonight - clear sky, the lake is calm.

Rella, can't wait to see the butterflies. It sounds incredible.

A few short months ago I could only ride two miles at a time.. I am grateful I made the decision to start somewhere... On Sunday I rode 46... It feels real good and I am just real grateful because I used to think that any kind of exercise was "stupid"...

I am grateful for all the people who were able to make it back to recovery today!

I am grateful for my recovery

I am thankful for my son, mother and brothers who have supported me when it was downright crazy to believe in me at all.

I am grateful for my sponsor who keeps telling me how well i'm doing and pushing me to do more

I am grateful for my sponsee who helps me alot more than i help her JMHO

Thank you all

Prayers for Big Dan.

I sometimes wonder if sponsors really know what incredible work they do. They are taking some of the most broken, forgotten people and helping them become whole. From what little I have seen and heard, there is also a lot of sadness -having to let a sponsee find his or her own path, watching them go back out.

I can only speak from my own limited experience but the impact that Randy, my sponsor, has had on my family & life has been incredible. I think I should tell him this the next time I see him but I already know what he will say: "nah..you did all the work." Okay Randy...whatever you say my friend .

Really grateful for sponsors (that includes you RZ). You folks are really something.

I'm grateful that today, despite a severe thunderstorm, I was able to bring my daughter's medicine to her workplace safely & quickly. I had just walked in the door when she called. If I hadn't got there asap, she would have been in trouble. I'm grateful to my HP that things all fell into place like they did.

I went fishing this morning. Sun shining, slight breeze. Couldn't help but think of my fishing buddy who passed away in 2000. The best memories.

It was so peaceful and relaxing. Nothing but the sounds of nature (and me catching fish ).

View from this morning:

I have a good life and I am so grateful.

Sometimes it's hard to be grateful when I'm upset about one or two or even three things that I'm not happy about. Yet there are sooooooooooooo many other things that are 'just right' or even better than that; ranging from 'just okay' to miraculous. Sigh.
