8 days ago my sponsor recommended me writing a gratitude list. being the alcoholic that i am, i am just getting around to it now.

1) grateful to be sober and be available for my family during this time (step mom starts kemo for breast cancer on tuesday)

2) grateful to have a God in my life

3) grateful to a job and reason for waking up every day

4) grateful for school starting in 3 weeks and getting my degree in spring

5) grateful for finding my group of friends in AA and having our wednesday and saturday night rituals

6) grateful for the willingness to workout physically everyday at my incredible gym

7) grateful to live in a great neighborhood in the best city in the world

8) grateful for the excitement of spring 08 when i am entering into my fathers real estate business after i finish school

9) grateful to have an amazing mother, father, brother, 2-step brothers, and a step-sister in my life

0) grateful to be so free today (after work and AA i can do whatever i want). if i see something i like, i can buy it. if i want to go visit a city, i can go. "the more dependent on God i am, the more independent i become"
