I am grateful for that place in my head...
The place in my head I go to words cannot explain. Beyond the tainted parts ravaged by disease... this part remains untouched but feeds off the diseased portion creating more beauty. I assend to heights fueled by my own creativity.
I pour out pages and pages but yet I cannot describe it. I dont want to fully understand it I love the mystery of this place it is so close I skim the surface but I yet to go inside.
As a writer, I tap into this place and its better then any drug I have ever tried. To create a place on paper with feelings and emotions just from a pen and paper is a power I am grateful to possess. The one place I have control. The one thing I can leave behind saying Jennifer was here and she did something ...
They say tortured souls are those who possess the ability to be creative.... then for this I am grateful because this is a gift I will not give up or squander.
For this I push on, push on for more beauty...
