Always grateful for my friends here.
Thank you God for Kevin, Lbad, JEI, Arura, Downtoit,
and everyone viewing. We miss you, and I sure would like
to get to know you if you have been here before. I hit all
the G lists, I believe it's #1 thing that keeps me sober.

I am grateful I have found this board. I am coming here after a very negative experience at a political board I post on. I am trying to change my thoughts to a postive frame of mind and that is why I am posting about gratitude. I am grateful that I was introduced to AA and the principles of rigorous honesty at a young age, so that I don't have to tell lies to or about other people. I am grateful I at least *know* what to do, and grateful that I can pray for the willingness to do it. I am really confused because I have tried to take the 'high road' because I believe it is the right thing to do. But at times I feel like that was a mistake. But I am grateful that I am sober to at least grapple with it, it really is a luxury problem

I'm grateful to be a sober alcoholic and addict. i'm grateful for no more pain and guilt over using. Grateful for my new life, now i wake up in the morning looking forward to the new day instead of backwards to the past. i'm grateful to have a better way of viewing life, and tools to deal with whatever life deals me today. grateful for laughter, the smiles in the eyes of my family.(they used to look at me Darkly). My life is so good now i can't even compare it to the pre using days.And all i have to do, is remember to be grateful and (accepting).

Grateful that although circumstances on the outward seem
to be collapsing at certain points, I take them as for a reason.
I wait for the new thing I know will be replacing the old.
I have learned a little about acceptance, you see.
Grateful that things on the inside are better and better each day.
