dilanafan...Welcome to SR...

That is what a sober and clean life is all about. When ever you get the urge to pick up, look into his eyes...

One day at a time.

I am grateful I don't cry all the time anymore. I used to cry everyday it seems.
"This life is not a veil of tears although it once was just that for many of us."

A favorite quote from the Big Book.

Red face grateful

I am grateful today for my first alanon meeting. Also, warm weather so I could walk there. I am grateful for a babysitter and a chance to have time to just myself as I walked to and from the meeting. Today is a good day.

Wish I could be grateful for weekends like Arura. Somehow I thought that one Alanon meeting would cure me....but, weekends are still hard for me....maybe someday I will be grateful for them. Until then, one day at a time. Today I am grateful for my lovely children who bring me much joy.

Rule 62 thanks

...... i like rule 62 .....Makes me feel saneish....[/QUOTE]

OK, I am fairly new here. The best I can figure out is that rule 62 is the rule to enjoy life and not take yourself to seriously. I have enjoyed those of you who have a nice sense of humor and ability to expres it for our enoyment through this forum. Thats something I am thankful for. Also, for a good nights sleep and continued clarity.

Red face Rule book

OK, so I googled Rule 62, but was wondering is there some sort of rule book? Can I find out about in in Alanon? What is the name of the book?....Or is there no rule book....just wondering.http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/.../HulaDance.gif

OK, I am trying out one of these smilies..they look fun.

Oh, today I am grateful for forgiveness, second chances, and for people who are willing to share their store for the inspiration of others.
