I am greatful to be alive today.

On Sunday I took an O/D and wound up in the ER. They say I almost died.

btw, liz, how is the ultram thing going? i almost got a script filled for that, too a couple of days ago.

Glad you're alive and grateful, Liz. I was a high-functioning alcoholic, never having a DUI, never did jail time, and never suffered any medical problems. But those things were a "YET". I'm not sure why my higher power always watched over me, but I know he carried me for many years. I'm very grateful myself. My prayers are with you.

nope, called and cancelled it, then called the doctor back, too.
weird, though, i have never abused codeine, as if i take more than one 30mg pill, i get really bad itching and rash.....same thing with darvocet. i hate them both, so i can't abuse them
point is, my doc gave me a scrip for darvocet yesterday, which i haven't filled cause i hate it so much....do you think it would be wrong if i did? i know i wouldn't abuse it, but it is a mild opiate.
would i no longer have 11 days sober if i got it and took one?
i know, i remember your ultram....weren't you the one who had the refill and you wanted help to cancel it? maybe i'm confused, wouldn't be the first time

Yeah, I wanted to cancel it but I got it filled anyway and finished 100 pills in 3 days.

Just stay away from all of the opiods; what was your doc?

I overdosed once intentionally on valium and a bottle of whisky... I almost died. I've done a lot of work on myself so that I'll never again see my life in such desperation and drama. I've learned to enjoy my life and be grateful for the miracle of my consciousness... doc is hydrocodone.
will take any pill to try to catch a buzz, tho....ultram was one i abused too. anything to give me energy (funny, when i'm sober, i have plenty)
for right now, i agree with the opiods and staying away.
so where are you with the ultram now?
