Mother's Day in the USA. It can be bittersweet.

Sending out virtual hugs to all moms, whose children are caught in the web of substance abuse; moms who are feeling the pain of loss today.

Thanks, Anaya. For years I felt the loss of my missing son every mother's day. Then I began honouring my own mother's memory and that of my MIL and allowing myself to feel special regardless, and that helped a lot.

I am grateful for all the love, wisdom, courage and values my mother passed on to me. These are the greatest of Mother's Day Gifts.
