Join Me in 30 Days of Gratitude...Part 2
I am grateful that two troublesome teeth are now gone and don't mind that I look like a hockey player while the denturists resets my partial plate. Lipstick does wonders!
And I am grateful for good people here, who had walked with me for a long time now and still don't tire of my babbling.

Oh Ann, I can relate. I have had to spend so much money on my teeth the past year and I broke another on the other day.... eating popcorn again. I have my dentist on speed dial, lol.
Today, I am grateful for enjoying going out for Chinese food and a movie with a friend last last night. It's been a long time that I have done that and it was a really nice.

I am grateful to have done well driving in bad weather (testing out the new rear tires!) recently. These days, I am appropriately cautious.
Otherwise, as a young woman, I usually didn't think twice about going out and about on snow-covered roads; in particular, I remember that experience while still living in my parents' home in the country and using one of their cars to drive back and forth to work. It is amazing to think that they let me do it!

I am sooo grateful to finally have my own washer and dryer again. Boy, was that something I took for granted. Although, the laundry room wasn't too far from my last place, it was still such a pain.
Today, I am looking forward to a nice lunch and a little shopping with a friend. She has a cute little sports car that I love to ride along in....but I wouldn't want it full time. But still fun for the day!

LMN: Hoping you enjoyed your day out. It sounds like fun!
I am grateful that each day is a little better than the one before. Getting back to work has been challenging, though, actually is what prompts me to stay on track, with time spent well while keeping negative thoughts at bay (for the most part). Exercising helps, too.

Anaya, easy does it. I love your flowery avatar!! Can't wait for spring.
LMN, yes, a washer and dryer in house is a blessing we take for granted.
I am grateful today that my medications are finally kinder and not making me nauseous.
And for sunshine, even though it is very cold outside today.

What a relief to not experience the nausea. That is good news.
Grateful for quiet days, peaceful nights and joy that sneaks into every single day. There was a time that I had none of this, today I cherish them.
I love this flash mob video, maybe I posted it before but it's worth a second round. Check the joy on the children's faces toward the end.

All I can say is, wow! That made my day.
Nor will I be in an urn- Anaya (lovely name, btw- protection?). I am following my gran's example and will donate my fried bod to a medical school. Interesting if only for the biopolymer/skin hybrid covering my burns- from a research group used to test it.
PhoenixJ: Your thoughtfulness is especial.
As far as my screen name -- what you noted is interesting! I believe I chose the screen name way back when, liking it because of a similar description to the one that follows that I happened upon today (intrigued by your post!) when I chose to "Google" search the meaning of Anaya:
"... Secondly, the word “Anaya” is said to mean “look up to God” in the Nigerian language of Ibo."
