I am grateful today to experience hopefulness and tranquility; restful sleep really helps to make this experience possible.

Hoping I can get through the next months with my chin up and eye on the ball! I'll be receiving treatments and surgery and while the supervisor is none too happy that I might be out over the holidays (has to cover for my absence) and I feel guilty, I do understand her disdain, her disappointment.

Wishing all a peaceful weekend and a chance to get out and about, to enjoy life and the beauty of nature.

Anaya, what your supervisor thinks is selfish. Of course you need time off to take care of your medical needs and poo on anyone who finds that "inconvenient" for them. Double poo.

I will keep you in my prayers. As someone who has been through this kind of thing, I know it can become overwhelming and I promise you that if you just keep doing "the next thing", it will be manageable and keep you in a better frame of mind. Take care of you, you are soooo worth it.

Ann - your message is encouraging and hopeful. I am most grateful and thank you for your kindness. I am learning to seize the moment, so far as doing what needs done to work toward better health and to make the most of my time as well.

Wishing all a hopeful and happy Monday !

Grateful I am now long enough in my recovery to help others who struggle- who I deem friends and have a quality worth support.

Today I am grateful for all the little shoe repair shops, the tailor shops and the watch repair shops where they clean your watch, no charge, before they return it to you in only a very few minutes. One day they will be gone, it's hard to make a living doing this. But today I am grateful for the ones that are still here.

And grateful for the peaceful heart that has taken to observing these small things that matter in life.

Grateful for an ordinary day, albeit rainy. I need a day of rest and I am grateful that I am not distracted by annoying people or places.

And grateful for the inspiration that PJ brings to SR everyday.

LMN, how is the new home purchase coming? Are you in yet?

For the untamed colours of the sea with a mind cleansing southerly wind that clears away the mental cobwebs.

Grateful to listen to music while I surf online. I enjoy when I can get away for awhile in the morning to have some "me time" without interruptions.

No, not yet. I will be closing in a few weeks and I haven't packed a box yet, lol.

I am so grateful for my friends.

Today I am grateful that I don't live close enough to LMN to be asked to help her pack.

To paraphrase...."a big gain, goodbye pain!" Well done PJ.

I am grateful for snow plows and salters, for emergency vehicle and for a handful of intelligent people who put on their 4-way flash to warn motorists of bad roads or accident ahead.

Grateful for winter.....NOT!
