I am grateful today for the pure joy of children, and that I will see my little great nephew and niece tomorrow...they are joy personified. We can learn from children, I think.

That is beautiful. To those who love, understand, protect, and guide the wee ones --the most vulnerable of all, the innocent and trusting ones -- God bless you.

I am grateful today for the beauty of autumn, the change of leaves and the quietude when walking by the river....no, PJ, there are no whales in the river.

And for the wildflowers that grow along the path by the water...I love these most of all, even if they make me sneeze.

Grateful- just am.

Ann, so there are no whales in the garden, BUT- here I present to you, a garden that is in the shape of a whale.

“Happiness cannot be traveled to owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.” – Denis Waitley

Grateful that the Canadian Thanksgiving is only a week away. Grateful for turkey and pumpkin pie and a niece who cooks/bakes both.

Grateful for the opportunity to spend time, to be of assistance to my dear mom; praying she will heal quickly and get back to her routine.
Grateful to be employed. My work site --actually is one of the more sane places I spend my time these days; inspires me to observe professionals doing it right and doing the right thing (I work in a hospital).
Grateful to keep boundaries in place when things have blown up this past week with various assorted family crises. As well, grateful to stay calm, to stay focused on staying on task with work and duties at home. My daughter had mentioned how she's been having trouble concentrating at work -- said meditation is helping her; thumbs up to that. I have been working mindfulness and prayer, wanting to at some point learn more about using meditation.

- that the events of 2015 are slowly lessening in their strangle hold. To returning to a place which could be defined as 'normal'.. where boring will be the new sexy thing, no drama, no upsets, no emotional rushes- just 'boring' ..aways to go yet......

I am grateful to get my lost camera case back, there are still very good people in this world who will seek you out to do a kind deed like returning lost goods.

Grateful for a wonderful day, autumn sunshine and friends who have shared their light when I was unable to find my own.
