Sounds like she has lots of support and help, including yours, if she wants it.
Also sounds like she doesn't really want it.
Agree with Anvill, any sentence that includes "pay for" is a sentence you can ignore.

As noted independence is a major goal. If she is forced to make decisions and pay for them on her own this might actually lead to independence and independent thought. She might reassess her relationship with the BF. Or realize if she wants it she'll have to pay for and take care of it herself.
