A celebration
A celebration
Today, by God's grace, I celebrate 28 years clean and sober.
Why did I choose to share this here? I have two daughters active in addictions.
I may be the only example of recovery they may see. I try to live an honest life, with gratitude for my blessings. I know they are proud of me because they tell me so.
They both grew up around the rooms of NA/AA, and they know where the help is should they choose it.
The best thing I can do for my daughter, myself, and everyone else is lead an authentic life in recovery.
Today I am grateful for everyone who has been with me on my journey including many of you.
May God bless you with a full heart and an authentic life! Hugs, my friends!

You are a shining light of inspiration, Devon, and I pray that one day soon your daughters will see by your example, how great life can be.
28 years is awesome, thank you for sharing your recovery with all of us...with me. I have learned from you and I am grateful to walk beside you, for many years now. Love you, my friend.

Congratulations.
I am so grateful for your presence, honesty and wisdom. Your recovery and all you share is a blessing to all of us!
And your post is a welcome reminder to me personally, that the best I can do is show the way through my own work at recovery and hope that those I love still in active addiction find their own path to health.
All the best,
Congratulations.
