Dealt with the recovering addict for too many years now. She started to going to many NA meetings after rehab always claiming that she needs to fix herself before our relationship or the kids relationship with her. Finding the Higher Power put her whole family in last place and what was the result? She met someone in the NA meetings and became a couple. Lying to everyone the whole time about attending meetings and doing her step work with her sponsor. So what she threw away was over 10 years of marriage, 2 daughters, and the trust and respect she will never get back. I'm turning the chapter on this book and hope everyone well on the forum. For the sake of my daughters and my family, she lost us forever.
