Found bottle of vodka & bottle of URINE under the bed.
Ok, I get why the vodka was hidden.
(*clean and sober now ~ yeah, right)
My first thought was "where'd he get the money for vodka without a job?"
I'm sure I paid for it somehow.
Then I find a glass bottle full of urine tucked away into a basket.
What the heck?
I figured maybe he was saving it to sell it?
He told me that while he was in rehab a lot of his Co rehabbers were still doing drugs while in rehab.
Since they constantly did drug testing he would sell his clean urine for 5 to $10 a pop to people in order to not get kicked out of rehab.
Is there any other reason anyone here knows of as to why he would be saving urine???
Am I missing something here?
I really hope he wasn't saving it to sell because that means he's still in contact with people who are still using drugs. I just can't imagine what else it could be.

I think the bottle of Vodka is more telling. It appears he isn't as sober as he professes, and with that comes all the other lies that go with addiction.
I am sorry for what you are going through, it bothers me to watch people here experience such pain when the lies are discovered, perhaps because I felt that pain myself with my son and I know how much it hurts.
Healthy people don't keep booze or urine under their bed. That kind of says it all, yes?
Hugs

does it matter WHY he has a bottle of urine stashed? isn't that there IS a bottle of urine ENOUGH? whether to sell it, keep it as a souvenier or drink it...........it ain't right nor normal. nor is storing one's alcohol under their bed........i don't think you need to look too deeply here...........
Yeah. I would say those are all possibilities. Helping others pass drug tests to cheat their own recovery, keeping clean urine in case he is tested, or just didn't feel like getting up to pee. These all sound possible. Does it matter which one it is, though? They all sound equally disturbing to me..

Yep
I just don't usually look under the bed. I was changing the sheets and noticed a remote halfway under the bed on the side he used to sleep on. I got down to grab the remote and looked to see what else was under there and 'Voila!

Didn't think of that...
Yeah, none of the options are 'good'.
I'm hoping that it's just because he was too drunk to make it to the bathroom.
Wouldn't he have dumped it out once sober though?
Ugh, I have to stop thinking like a reasonable person when it comes to figuring him out.
