hello my lifesavers!!!
 

its been so long since I posted, for that I apologize. I have been so darn busy. My newest thing to tell you is that I am one of the directors of a non profit organization called Angels In Motion. Our mission statement is "changing the the way those suffering with the disease of addiction is treated one life at a time." We (the organization) has at least 6000 members on our facebook page and so many of them volunteer to go out on the streets and help people who want treatment, as well as give resources to the homeless. We provide a bag that has a snack in it along with the resource paper and our phone number for outreach. We will pick someone up and take them to treatment facilities...well you get the idea. After having my brother die of an overdose and living through my sons addiction (many years sober now) this site, you guys, saved my sanity so I decided to pay it forward and boy am I...............

Rahsue, it is wonderful to hear from you and I am so glad to hear that your son is doing well.

What you are doing just touches my heart, you offer help to those who need it most and each time you reach out to someone on the street, you are reaching out to my son and the loved ones of many here who ended up in sad places.

Think of that next time you offer a sandwich or drive somone to rehab, it could be my son or someone else's daughter or loved one.

Bless you for doing this, there is a special place in heaven for angels like you.
