UPDATE...and hoping that prayers have been answered
If you remember my story it is my AS who is the opioid addict and it has been a year and a half of hell......but, and I am saying this cautiously but, things seem so much better.
He was home ......they picked him up on a bench warrant..... he had a hearing which he got extended till the end of the month. He served his 30 days and supposedly has fulfilled his probation now just paying on his fines.
He seems better...more focused and says he wants to make this time work.....I am hoping and praying that this time will be the time.
Hoping that this is what we have been praying for....

Thank you for the update Plink. He is saying the right things, and now its time for him to take his recovery on! Praying it continues for you. Remember to detach with love and let him continue to choose his next steps.
Hugs,

Keeping your son in my prayers, Plink, that his actions continue to back up his words and that he can grab the lifeline of recovery and hang on.
Sometimes jail and court orders are just what they need to stop and sober up long enough to see a better path.
