You will have a beautiful baby very soon, and the love you have for that child will sustain you and help you continue.

Perhaps this is a good season to remember another child who was born in a manger with no place to go and a life of uncertainty ahead.

Like that child there will be wise people to help you and the child both, there will be light and joy one day and the gift this child brings will be like no other. God loves all his children, including your baby. Trust that and know that we all are with you in spirit when you give birth one day soon.

Hugs
Ann
That was beautiful.

Thanks for checking in on me Hope 😊I'm doing my best to survive, one day at a time , like you said. I'm trying to imagine what it will feel like in a few years from now, and that maybe, it won't be as horrible as now. Maybe I will feel better, maybe my life will be better. Maybe I will feel like I'm living, and not only surviving like now. Just hard to believe that now. How are you feeling? Sending you hugs

Sending you lots of hugs and prayers.

When my children were born, it brought a new love within me as I know it will with you. Stay strong for your sweet baby boy. Take care dear.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams it is still a beautiful world. Be gentle with your self. Strive to be happy, SD. (from 'desiderata') PJ.

sodevestated......I remember, with my first pregnancy...I went into the bathroom and buried my face in the terrycloth towels, to cry, alllll the time!
Could be caused by the slightest thing.......

do you have a special girlfriend....that can come to the birth....and talk to you on a daily basis...even on the phone, when the baby arrives....
That is such invaluable support....
You might, also, make a note to ask the social worker how to find a mommy support group of other mommys......there are lots of them, these days.....
Honestly, I don't know how I would have gotten through so many difficult times, in my life, without my girlfriends!

Don't forget that we will be here for you 24/7!

Do you have a Christmas Nativity? The stable,
animals, Wise Men, Mary, Joseph and the
Baby Jesus and of course the Star of David
shining brightly over the Holy Family.

How about pictures in a frame of Jesus,
Mother Mary, God Almighty to gaze upon
for strength, hope and inspiration.

I have a large concrete figure of Jesus,
Mother Mary and a Cross I found at our
nursery to place in my gardens filled with
many pretty flowers and birds that fly down
to perch upon and most of all to keep what
is most important in my heart, mind and soul
each and everyday I wake to greet the day.

I hope you have little things around your
home for you to draw inspiration on during
this time in your life.

You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh, how good it feels that you can relate to my hormones 😊 what impact they have ! I will try to reach out to a friend when I need to talk to someone and maybe find a support group too. I also have my therapist. Thanks for the advice! AND I have all of you here and I am so grateful for that. Love you all

No, unfortunately I have none, but I do have a picture of Jesus to look at. Maybe I would need to get a few more to give me hope. I really need that in this period of my life. Nice to hear that it gives you strength.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. It means a lot to me. God bless you

Hi SoDe,
I'm sorry that you are going through so much because of the loss of your husband. Grieving is a normal part of healing. Time and having your baby will help. Stay strong.

I would love to call you something more
deserving than sodevastated, but do
understand anonymity.

Anyway....

Do you have the baby nursery ready
and waiting for your new arrival? Many
of us have had our little family, maybe
grandparents now or just like hearing
or reading about God's littlest Angels
coming into the world.

Maybe you can share what the baby's
room looks like and did you have a baby
shower?

Just wondering and hoping you wouldn't
mind sharing that little bit with us as we
all here are traveling on this journey with
you and anxiously awaiting news of you
and your new blessing to arrive.
