It turns out, that addicted stepson (meth and heroin) was planning on sneaking into our barn/garage to sleep with his agf last night. They've been homeless for months and he knows that he is not allowed to be here while he is actively using.
It did not end up happening, as he told his sister his plan and she told him no, but ended up inviting them to her place.
Unfortunately, this has put me in a baaaad state of mind.
I've got ptsd from an abusive marriage that I got out of over a decade ago, and have issues feeling safe on a good day. He has this way of triggering the crud out of the ptsd. I guess it's time to look for motion alarm systems. sigh. Hubby's reaction was not to worry, everything is locked up. How can you NOT worry, when last week he put someone he thought was stealing from them in the hospital? Ohhhh, yeah, it's his kid. It's different.

i'm so sorry Sephra. you must put your own needs and self care first. is there somewhere else you can go stay for a while? so you can get some peace and clarity?
