Well, it's been a god awful week. But last night it broke a bit. I ended up going to see my old best friend who I haven't seen in a few years and it was so so nice to be able to talk openly, freely, with someone who knows my soul, doesn't judge, and will be honest with me.
Hubby's brother, wife and child came up and they went fishing for the day. While they were out, they stopped at a convenience store, my stepson and stepdaughter came to the store, walked past hubby, (within a foot and a half) and were so messed up, that they did not see him. I think that smacked him pretty hard.
So, with the exception of that, we both had a much needed, good day, and I can feel the tension lifting. Thank GOD!

Sephra, sometimes it's a wonderful thing to just remove yourself from the chaos and enjoy yourself with friends.

I am glad you had such a good day, regardless of what your step kids were doing.
