husband's one year
Hi everyone, I am new here! Glad I found this site as my family is still recovering from damage done. Yet today I have a question anyone have words of advice on giving a little speech at my husbands one year coming up? Ive only been to a few meetings and Im so nervous ... thank you!

Simply state how proud you are of this person, and how far they have come. Do not dwell in the past and "the damage done"...As a person in recovery I do that to myself enough and it is a great reminder to hear someone else give me a "pat on the back." Just my 2 cents. Speaking in front of a room is tough, hope it goes great!

Congratulations to your husband and to you and your family. I give you a ton of credit for being a supportive wife! Congrats! I'm sure you'll be getting a lot of advice from the folks here on SR. Good luck!
