Many if not most of those we cared about had less chance of survival
beneath the Perdue Pharma onslaught than they would have had
under the open bomb-bay doors of a nuclear strike B-52. The strong
arming of MDs is one fact I can verify from a close acquaintance. This
is the end effect of deregulating virtually everything. When it becomes
profitable to slaughter innocents----innocents get slaughtered.

That is quite a read!
Nearly every person in my Nar-Anon group will attest to the progression of opiod pills to heroin for their kids or spouses. The governments cracked down on the pill trade and drove the street prices up to about $1 per milligram for pills - so an Oxy 30 was $30 on the street, heroin is just cheaper, at least in my area.
