Real Peace -Within Turmoil
Absence of turmoil is not real peace. Real peace is when you rise above the turmoil, and stay peaceful in the midst of it.
-Sri Swami Satchidananda
I am trying to remember this as I deal with ALO and codependent mother. Also their turmoil does not have to become mine. While I am far from achieving real peace within turmoil at least I am aware of this and moving slowly in this direction a moment at a time.
Practicing mindfulness breathing each time I begin to get upset along with keeping focus on my health and well being. The calmer I am the better I can handle difficult situations and the clearer I can see possible solutions (not to fix people or situations but to do what is possible and let go of the rest).
I wish peace for all people on this site and all who are suffering and to find peace in in a way that works for them.
