she went to detox and 28 day program ..I hope she means it..told her I love her and we talk then ..I will just step back and watch and see if she can do it ..hope so..is it wrong not to have faith

I have zero faith in my fellow human beings but absolute faith in my Creator.

It is normal to kind of lose hope. Just try to be gentle with yourself and her, and take each day as it comes. On good days we call this detachment. :)

this is her battle but we certainly understand how you feel. I read the other day that despair is a weakness (sin) - I didn't know what that meant but did some reading and realize - enough to learn to hope thru the pain and worry. Faith will carry you thru.
