Hello Summer 2015!
Hello Summer 2015!
A Happy Memorial Day (USA). The traditional kickoff to Summer!
Make it a great one and make some terrific memories to look back
on come Labor Day (USA also)...........
.........time to break out the white garments-----but let us not see
anything white AFTER Labor day! I think someone said something
like that in 1947 in casual conversation--------and now it is a capital
faux pas.
Addiction isn't everything. In fact, it isn't even most things---in
the grand scheme of things it is barely anything at all. Who is with
me in demoting it to it's proper perspective?
Yesterday I went a great distance----to ceremoniously put a
certain something symbolizing this dreadful life detour...
....into a trash can.
The trash is where it belongs.

Hello, Summer!
I'm with you, Vale. Spring is the time of renewal and we can each use this time wisely to spring clean and toss out the resentments, the fear and the nastiness of yesterday and prepare for those lazy, hazy days of summer.
Today I bought my patio hanging baskets of flowers and am preparing to plant my garden next weekend (we plant late in the north, lest frost destroys our efforts) and I like to plant something permanent each year that will return year after year and this year I think it will be a rose of sharon...a lovely flower that will remind me that life can be filled with roses if I remember to take time to weed and nurture.
Now where are my white shoes and handbag?
