Allmirages: Great minds and broken hearts think alike I guess. Of course the operative word is think, which our ex's are still trying to learn. Yeah, he would have some serious work to do with me.

I have no use for his words. His amends would have to be action based and from what I can see, he has no will or plan or thought to taking any positive actions towards me for a long time if ever. I have his stuff so at some point he will have to deal with me. His family who just knew I was his saving grace and "fit their family like a glove" has also cut me off without a word. His mom promised to get his stuff when they are back from "wintering" in Fl. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatever. I want the stuff gone, but part of me is like "no, no more enabling! He's a grown a$$ man! Let him come get his crapola and face his screw ups!"

I had to do that myself when an old friend dressed me down good and proper for crap that I had done while trying to defend my indefensible ex. I stayed silent as my hair blew back at the force of his vent and made sincere amends. No excuses. Pleasant? Heck no! But grown ups face the music! But not as long as they live in Disney rehab where they can all be Cinderella and Prince Charming.
