I finally filed DV charges

We as a culture recognize the terribly destructive nature of DV and have
tilted our laws greatly in favor of those targeted by it. It is a CRIME that eats
at the fabric of the society we have constructed to feed, house, and defend our
citizenry. It undercuts the necessary nurturing of future generations that will soon
feed, house, and nurture US.
At the risk of being impolitic, I have seen, visited, and lived amongst other
cultures of the world where women's rights are not even a footnote. They are weak,
corrupt, and are only extant to the extent that the powerful nations ALLOW them
to exist. Any culture that decapitates 50% of it's human capital defines the word
WEAK.
DV is disallowed in the first world. And we each have a duty to not look the
other way. YOU have made us proud by saying "NO".
