This morning at 530am I dropped my SO off to the airport. His flight landed a few hours ago and he's now 1200 miles away at rehab and hopefully getting the help he needs. I miss him already, but I guess technically, since he hasn't been himself in about 2-3 months, Ive been missing him for a while now anyway.
Anyway, its day one of what is supposed to be the start of a healing process for both of us. God knows we both need it desperately.

This is all good, and this may be a good time to work on your own recovery and regain your balance.
Maybe take time each day and go to a meeting or read some good recovery books (Codependent No More is awesome), and do something nice for yourself.
Remember how it feels to wake up happy and look forward to a new day? Embrace this time to re-feel all the good stuff called "life".

Its good BlueBones but I know its hard. Im thinking of you ! Happy happy you talked to your family and now you can lean on them. I bet the time will go by faster than you think. Do something NICE for yourself today and REST !!

Thank you! Im looking forward to working on my nursery and spending time relaxing. Its going to be tough I think but also nice to sleep soundly! My family (and his) have been great. Im praying for good things
