A Return to My Normal Life So it's been two weeks since deciding pursuing a RO against my AXGF wasn't worth it. Was I right? Damn straight I was right. Summer's here, and for the first time in a while, my irritable right shoulder is healthy enough for golf. This weekend, in a way, was a perfect weekend: spent a good chunk of yesterday and today playing guitar, and I spent an hour at the driving range this morning. Hitting the little white ball can be frustrating, but there were a few moments today when the right combination of firing my hips and rotating my forearms through impact resulted in majestic shots. Long, and straight. Golf and guitars. What could possibly be better? At least for me... Changing my phone number was something I didn't want to do, but I'm glad I did it. And while I still have concerns that she'll show up at my house, I'm not letting it scare me. Sure, when a car drives by late at night, it gets my attention. But I'm starting to believe that even she knows that if she shows up here, it's not going to go well for her. I've got my life back. Again. Now if I can get my elbow tendonitis to go away... ZoSo |
Now if I can get my elbow tendonitis to go away... man, if I could have one day with two good knees....won't happen, but dang one can dream! good for you, zoso! we gotta put that stuff behind us. and go for the life we HAVE right in front us. |

Maybe you can have your knees done one at a time, Anvil? |
Well, my joints are good for an old gal so I will be the cheerleader here and shout "Hurrah!" Living a life of fear and resentment does nothing but pull us down and eat us alive. You claimed your territory, Zoso, and reclaimed your life. Your recovery shines! :cheer |
Zoso...that is great news! I have tendonitis in my elbow, I get a shot every three months for it. It does the trick for me! Glad you found some peace and enjoyment! |
