Well I'm back on the forums w a new name cuZ I forgot my old info.....my bf and I have been doing well but now suspect oxy is back on the dance floor w us again. Its werid cuz I ONLY see his eyes resticted and not dialating in dim rooms only about once a week or two weeks??? This is why its hard for me to know what really is dancing w my bf! This is almost the only thing I see.....no crazy energy and no withdrawel symptoms at all....this has been bout a month now of intermittant pupils that I know aren't dialting. He's been sobor from oxy about more than a yr now and all of a sudden this eye thing!!! I'm mad and angry he slipped? He said today he'd take a test but I've read people can drink lotsa water to dilute their system. Any advice out there from family or addicts what to do? We live together so if he was back to oxy id see this more than once every two weeks so I don't get it.....should I test today if he knows I'm going to since I saw his eyes lastnite and said I wanted to test today? Thx

Do you really want to spend your life drug testing a grown man? That really isn't your responsibility. If your gut tells you he's using then IMO there is a 95% chance he is. My gut was ALWAYS right. It is just too easy to tell when someone is on something. The behavior is just too "off ". I have no idea how drug tests work, but I don't think just drinking water will make him pass if he is using again. I guess my only advice is really ask yourself if this the kind of life that is ahead of u with an addict recovering or not is really what you want??

Thank you!! I needed this reminder!! I am so happy to be free of all that insanity. Checking pupils, drug testing, questioning my own instincts. What became my "norm" over time was really so sick, I just couldn't see it, nor did I want to.
