This has been created by Dr. Phil's wife Robin in her efforts to stop DV. It is named after her mother. Robins father was an alcoholic and they often lived with much uncertainty and chaos that comes with any addiction.

It has an app for your phone which is well hidden under another app so the abuser can't find it easily. The app can help call for help if needed. The list of resources is pretty extensive too.
If you are in an abusive relationship or know someone that is, please take a look.

I have heard of it, LMN, and am so proud of her for doing whatever she can for abused women. I volunteered at a women's shelter a few years back and as heartbreaking as the situations were, it was rewarding because they had wonderful facilities to protect the women and children, safe temporary housing complete with counseling and security, and training facilities to give some of the ladies a skill and then help with employment searching.
Most women in an abusive situation need help to find safety, stabilize emotionally and physically, and then an opportunity to make a safe and productive future for herself and her children. In the past, many women returned to the relationship simply because they had no where else to go. Today it is or can be different and people like Robin are doing a good thing to try to ensure there is help for every woman.
Thanks for posting this, it's a good reminder to think of our local women's shelters as we spring clean and have items of clothing or furniture or household goods to give away.
Hugs
