How would you handle this?
Perhaps he knows he got caught with sticky fingers.... It would be really good if he could just admit it to you, but I know its doubtful at this point.

My daughter's AXBF stole a very special family heirloom from me (along with many other things). For weeks, I drove myself crazy thinking maybe I hid it and couldn't remember where I put it. I just didn't want it to be true that he would do that to us. When I finally faced reality about the situation we told him he was no longer welcome in our home. Oddly enough, nothing has been stolen from us since we asked him to leave.
