NYTimes article on nonreligious AA groups |
A good many of us got into aa or recovery on a foxhole prayer. The shortened serenity prayer is Christian . In a meeting in California they closed with that instead of the Lord's Prayer which we close with where I live. We do always say for those that care to at the end close with it. All told, I'd rather believe and be right then to not believe and be wrong. I don't wish to force my belief on anyone nor do I wish someone to force their belief or lack of on me. Like the article said, live and let live |
