My daughter told me yesterday that her AXBF had been texting her to check on their son and see how she was doing. She said she wasn't being rude to him but she was not interested in talking about her day with him. Said she would update him on the baby but that was it. Her reason? "If I allow that kind of daily, casual, conversation I'll love him again" Wow! It never dawned on me that that's how fine a line she's walking right now. Prayers for all the people trying to hold fast to the boundaries they've set!

It is hard to keep boundaries. It sounds as though she is very aware of her own feelings and thoughts and being very strong. Good for her!
