Sending warm hugs to everyone here at SR.
I'm trying to get through the day. The kids have all kinds of presents to open tonight. They are so excited. Im glad to see them smiling and excited.
I can't say that I feel the warmth in my heart this year
D called us on the phone this morning to say merry christmas. He told me he is sorry his hands are empty this year, and I said "well, we're sober boo. That's all that matters."
I respect that he has money on his books and yet he is still clean. He is proud that I am as well. I don't know what the future holds but I do know that all things work for good for us. I am luckier than some... my addict is safe and sober, at least for now.
I hope everyone finds a way to enjoy the holiday.
