I've lived much of my life trying to "fix" my mother. And a just gave up a year or two ago. But then something made me feel like she needed me to trust her again. & now I'm worried she's relapsing. I realize you can't fix everything and you should try not to care, but it can be so hard not to care.

She has to fix herself sweetie...

Of course you can still care, but you cannot do this for her. She has to want it for herself...

This is why so many of us are here, the care and love we have for a loved one. We just have to make sure that our caring isnt in the form of trying to fix.
