Blogger I found....l

I'm putting this here because it might be useful, there is some bad language, and a lot or sarcasm, so if that's not your thing, move on.

Otherwise, this guys got a lot of great insights that I think can be applied to a lot of the problems we see on these boards.

I clicked through several links to other articles, and enjoyed them all.

The article was good. I found #6 to be good for me today. It always bothered me that my mom is always the "victim," but I wonder how much I do that, too. I really want to stop seeing myself like that and using it as an excuse to not improve my life.

Number six was mine too. It's too easy to start believing we're fundamentally flawed. And if it makes you feel any better my last, real GF, before I met the addict, played the victim card for years before I finally got tired of it and got out.

Gosh, #4 screams of what a lot of us do with addicts, myself included for longer than I care to admit.
