Heard of any Herbal remedies?

Through all of my research over the past few years, I have gained some information about some herbs that hep with addiction and the recovery of addiction. I am starting to gather it up and see how much I can find out about it. What it does for them, and how it works.
Have you heard of any that help or are helpful towards recovery? Do you know of any?

We all know that active addicts don't take care of themselves as far as health and eating healthy. So obviously a proper diet, eating heathy will help. But recently I have learned some herbs are helpful in helping with withdraw symptoms as well as recovery.
Do you know of any herbs that help? Have you read any studies on it?

I am wanting to gather up as much information about it as I can.

Just a note of caution before this post goes too deep...Herbal products can be very beneficial but can also be deadly. Natural does not always equate to healthy. We try not to even discuss vitamins and supplements in great detail because what is good for one person may not be for another...always good to check with a specialist, etc. Just want to be sure we don't cross the line here to medical advice, dosage etc. Thanks a bunch!
