OT - URGENT Prayers for my mama
Please pray for my mama. I just found out today that close to three weeks ago she fell and broke her hip and also her leg in three places. Right now she is in rehab. From what I understand from other family members is that she has water on her leg and her heart is not strong enough to pump it out. There is more to the story such as prior to the fall she had a bladder infection which she refused to believe she had one. Keep in mind my mama is 94 years old. She dropped gate that is used to block the dogs off on her leg and it badly bruised her leg. She ended up at the doctors and he gave her antibiotics, a diuretic, and a blood pressure pill cause her blood pressure was low. Later she got up in the night to use the bathroom, but fell some how and the bruise burst out blood, she broke her hip and her leg is broken in three places for which they did surgery and put a rod in her leg. I am cannot speak to the doctors or nurses until after family goes and puts me on a list so that they can tell me her condition first-hand.
All I know is from what family tells me ... they are getting her affairs in order. Please pray for my mama. She loves the Lord and I know she is in good hands. My heart is for her to recover. God may have other plans. All I know is I am numb right now. Prayers all around are very much appreciated

She is strength and dignity
She is beauty beyond measure
She is faithful to no end
She is more precious than any gem or jewel.
She is gracious and pure in heart

My mama faithfully prayed for me without enabling me
I arrived at rock bottom by the grace of God and on the wings of a prayer from an angel I call mama.

Please remember to keep my mama in your prayers. I am getting some updates that I will share with you all later, but for now she is in rehab for a fractured hip, there is fluid on her legs and her heart is to weak to pump it out. They are giving her medicine for congestive heart failure.
I was told that she is having a difficult time keeping food down and they have her on the strongest anti-nausea medicine though even with the medicine she is still not able to keep food down. I am told she is having good days and bad days and I have talked to her via the telephone. She is not herself as is to be expected with the narcotics they have her on for pain.
The staff tells me one thing and family tells me another so it is hard to gage what is really going on, but as my oldest daughter brought to my attention my mom is in a rehab/nursing facility and the focus is on getting her better. None of the doctors have called the family together and told them to get her affairs in order, this is being done by what I suspect is their own fears. I just know she is still here and I refuse to bury my mama while she is still alive.
I know my mama is 94 and she is in a fragile state, but I also know that she is a child of the Most High God and no matter what happens she is going to be okay. I am getting things prepared on the home front to take a flight to Alabama at some point soon. So I can be there and hopefully lift her spirits and let her know just how much she is loved.
In the mean time I will take all the prayer for her that I can get.

When you mama's time comes I have asked my mama, another angel always, to greet her and they can talk about us and how much we loved them and they loved us.
