Is it possible to have gained quite a but of weight and still be snorting heroin.

A friend was in rehab short term, came out and looks healthy having put on weight, but i have strong suspicions he is still using.

Any experience is appreciated.

Yes it's possible. My AW gained quite a bit of weight while using heroin. But there were lots of other clues/signs of her addiction.

I only lose weight during withdrawl. while Im using I dont feel sick anymore so I can eat. It is one of my biggest excuses to use.

Yes! My partner was using crack and heroin and I always used to comment on how he was " the fattest addict I know"!
