Did you all call Mom (if possible)?
Did you all call Mom (if possible)?
If you didn't (and you are speaking terms)....you have about a
24 hour 'limited Mothers Day forgiveness' factor----(then all hell breaks
loose)
(And yeah,smarta**es...I did call)
She cleaned the CRAP out of your diaper before you could spell it.
She loves you now even if you STILL don't know how to spell it.
No matter who you are----no matter how high & mighty or whatever
you think you are----there will always be one woman who knows just
HOW full of crap you can be!
(inelegant segue, no?)
......the clock is ticking. Tell her you got mixed up, crossed the international
date line.....WHATEVER. Just DON'T tell her you forgot. THAT is one of the
sins that can get you excommunicated from humanity.

Hi Vale,
I wasn't able to call my Mother this year but I did have a long talk with her.
Mother's Day, five years ago, was last time I was able to spend the day with my Mom. She was in rehab (the other kind, lol) after being in the hospital for several weeks. We had a wonderful day laughing, talking, and reminiscing. Later that evening she slipped into a coma and died 3 days later in ICU. I miss her so very much.
I am glad you took the opportunity to call your Mother.

I'm sorry, LMN.
But that last day sounds like a fantastic one.
I'm glad you got to share it with her. We don't
always know when we'll be sharing our last words
with someone----so it's important to make them count.
I appreciate all of your kind words over the months gone
by, especially the funny ones!
Thanks, Friend.
