I'm sneaking in the side door with an update!
Hi all you newbies, and Oldbees,
Been thinking of you all quite frequently these days, and thought I'd take a brief moment to give a fast update!
Youngest son, age 35, moved to Florida to supposedly work a landscaping business with friends, he was there 2 weeks, and ended up in jail for Meth selling and distribution........
He was sentenced to 3.5 years, and is now in work release, and sober for today.....
Oldest son, after being released from prison after his 4th stint for drug possession, was released last August, and has remained sober since his release. I suppose the 4th time's a charm...lol
And Mr. Moose and I sold our lovely cottage in Canada last Sept. and 3 weeks ago, bought a home in Port Charlotte, Florida!
My mother passed away at the age of 94 onm December 22nd, 2012, and I am in the process of fixing her house up, and putting it on the market, hopefully the beginning of June.
Once we have everything sorted out.....we'll be moving on South!
We are Soooooo excited!

I am just doing quick rounds before dinner, but am so glad to see you and happy that your sons are doing better.
Mama Moose was a wonderful gal, I really liked her and although she is gone she will remain in our memories forever.
I will send you an e-mail and catch up more, I want to hear all about your Florida home...wooo hooo! Maybe we can meet down there and have a real live visit again.
Dinner's burning...I shall have blackened spaghetti if I don't run.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom, Moose - I've heard wonderful stories about her pies from Ann. Glad to hear your sons are doing well and thrilled for your new home. That's a wonderful part of Florida. I'm fond of Siesta key and Venice and hope one day soon to find my way to Sanibel and some of the beautiful island state parks. Thanks for stopping by!
