How are you doing? I have been learning a lot during this time, and it has been a challenge in a lot of ways, but I feel good about where Im at, and optimistic about our relationship at this point.

That IS good news from both of you. Working your own recovery while they work theirs is a good way to keep balance in the home and keep yourself strong.

Great to hear about his sobriety and that you're doing well too, M!

My hubby is due for his 3 month chip pretty soon, but I kicked him out around the 2 month mark because even though he was abstaining, the -isms (the thinking and mental aspects of the disease) were still alive and well. Lying, manipulating, tricking, etc.

It's one thing that they stop using substances.

Then that leave the inner game to get worked with.
