Companion Post to "Watching someone you love..."
Thank you horriblethisis for the inspiration.
Doing the right thing, no matter how hard, feels good
Knowing I married a wonderfully loving, supportive man feels good (absolutely fabulous, actually)
Following through with getting help for myself feels good
Not staying awake all night worrying if my Addicted Brother is going to bring home drugs or a dealer feels good
Having this group to help me in my recovery (even if I don't participate often, I do read just about every post) feels good
Learning something new every day to aid in MY recovery feels good
